Flag football in Příbram: season over and a huge thank you
On Saturday 17 October, Nordians Teplice played the final round 6 of the flag football competition at SK Spartak Příbram stadium, and with it our very last games of this season. Due to absences, only eight of us made it to Příbram, so substitutions were very limited and the guys played a huge amount of minutes. Unfortunately the results didn’t go the way we wanted, but we still fought to the end and got through a tough schedule of three games in a row.
- Nordians vs. Příbram Bobcats 6-39
- Nordians vs. South Bohemia Falcons 0-22
- Nordians vs. Prague Black Panthers 20-40
Progress against the Panthers
Against the home side Bobcats and the South Bohemia Falcons our offence couldn’t find a way through and points were hard to come by. We did best in the last game against the Prague Black Panthers. At our home tournament in Teplice we scored 6 points against them, in Příbram it was 20.
Looking back at the season
This flag season brought us two wins, both against the Třinec Sharks (34-13 and 42-8). Above all, it gave many of our rookies their first ever game experience. That is what we want to build on.
A huge thank you to all of you
The season is over and we want to say the most important thing: a huge thank you to all of you. To our fans, families, partners and everyone who supported us throughout the season.
Now winter training at Nord Gym awaits.
