Flag football in Přerov: a second win over Třinec, 42-8
On Saturday 27 September, Nordians Teplice played a flag football tournament at TJ Spartak Přerov stadium. A second win over Třinec came alongside two losses that we can learn a lot from.
- Nordians vs. Přerov Mammoths 12-40
- Nordians vs. Třinec Sharks 42-8
- Nordians vs. South Bohemia Falcons 6-26
The Mammoths didn’t suit us
The opening game against the home side Přerov Mammoths didn’t go our way at all. Practically nothing worked and we lost 12-40.
Even better against Třinec than in Prague
Against the Třinec Sharks we built on the Prague tournament and won even more convincingly, 42-8. We had the game firmly under control and it was our best performance of the tournament.
Holding the Falcons for a long time
In the last game against the South Bohemia Falcons we held our own for a long time. Our defence kept stopping the opponent’s offence, but we eased off towards the end and the Falcons eventually won 26-6.
Our next tournament came just a week later at home in Teplice. You can read how it went in our Teplice report.
